1. Scope and who we are
Somporko™ is a relationship-first technology platform for communication, service, memory, family support, and human connection. This Privacy Policy applies to Somporko websites and to all current and future Somporko products and services, including successor, renamed, rebranded, newly introduced, or expanded products, features, applications, platforms, and service offerings, unless a product-specific notice or written agreement states otherwise.
Current products include Somporko Aria™, Somporko Frontline Intelligence™ (also referred to as Somporko Frontline), Somporko Diary™, and Somporko Care Circle™ (also referred to as Somporko Circle), together with related applications, websites, communications, integrations, AI-powered workflows, and services.
In this policy, “Somporko,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Somporko and the applicable Somporko product or service.
2. Information we collect and process
The information we process depends on the product, feature, customer configuration, and choices you make. It may include:
- Account and contact information, such as name, phone number, email address, organization, account identifiers, roles, permissions, preferences, and verification information.
- Communications and content, such as voice or text conversations, messages, prompts, responses, journal entries, notes, reminders, events, important dates, Family Updates, assistance requests, tasks, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.
- Call and audio information, such as phone numbers, caller information, audio, recordings when enabled, transcripts, call status, summaries, routing information, and related metadata.
- AI-generated or derived information, such as summaries, classifications, extracted details, insights, suggested actions, reminders, follow-up items, and other outputs generated from information processed through a Somporko service.
- Connected-service information from calendars or other services that you choose to connect or authorize.
- Business-workflow information, such as appointment details, customer requests, scripts, prompts, workflow settings, service inquiries, business rules, and other information supplied by or for a business customer.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device information, application activity, timestamps, logs, crash or diagnostic information, security events, and basic analytics.
- Transaction information, where applicable, needed to administer a paid service. Payment card data may be handled directly by a payment provider rather than stored by Somporko.
3. How we collect information
We may collect information directly from you; from your voice, text, app, web, or phone interactions with a Somporko product; from a business, organization, or authorized participant using a Somporko service with you; from services or integrations you choose to connect; and automatically through our application, communications, security, and infrastructure systems.
For shared or relationship-based products, information may also be provided by authorized participants according to the permissions and sharing choices applicable to that product.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, secure, personalize, maintain, and improve Somporko products and services. Depending on the product, this may include:
- conducting AI-powered voice or text interactions;
- transcribing, summarizing, organizing, and understanding conversations or journal content;
- extracting reminders, dates, requests, tasks, insights, or other relevant information;
- maintaining context and history so a product can support continuity and follow-through;
- routing calls, taking messages, scheduling, sending requested communications, or carrying out user- or customer-authorized actions;
- providing shared features to authorized participants;
- authenticating users, maintaining permissions, preventing abuse, and protecting accounts and systems;
- supporting, troubleshooting, evaluating, and improving our products;
- complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.
Where a product or customer workflow includes feedback, annotations, evaluations, or human review, we may process that information for the purposes described in the applicable product notice, agreement, or consent.
5. Artificial intelligence processing
AI is a core technology across Somporko products. Depending on the product and configuration, information may be sent to third-party AI model providers for inference, transcription-related processing, summarization, extraction, classification, response generation, reasoning, or other AI-powered functions.
Current AI providers
As of the date of this policy, our products may use the following third-party AI providers:
| Product or product family | AI providers |
|---|---|
| Somporko Diary | Google Gemini AI models |
| Somporko Care Circle / Somporko Circle | Google Gemini AI models |
| Somporko Aria and Somporko Frontline Intelligence | May use or offer Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI models, or other supported AI providers depending on customer configuration and feature requirements. |
The information sent to an AI provider depends on the feature being used. It may include relevant conversation content or transcripts, journal or note content, reminders, events, requests, updates, business-workflow information, and other information that a user, customer, or authorized participant provides or authorizes the service to use.
We use third-party AI providers to provide the requested functionality. We do not provide personal information to third-party AI providers for their advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
Where required by law, platform rules, contract, or the nature of the product, we provide additional notice and obtain permission before covered personal information is sent to a third-party AI service. If a material change to an AI provider or processing practice requires new notice or consent, we will provide it before the affected processing begins.
AI providers and model availability may change over time. We will update this policy or applicable product notices when a change materially affects how personal information is processed.
Model improvement and training
We may use aggregated, de-identified, or non-personal information to operate, evaluate, secure, and improve our services. Any use of identifiable private user content for model training or product-improvement purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the service will be governed by the applicable product notice, customer agreement, or user consent.
6. Voice interactions, recordings, transcripts, and generated content
Somporko products may process voice and text interactions to understand requests, generate responses, create transcripts or summaries, identify important information, support follow-up, route communications, take messages, organize journal entries, or perform other requested functions.
Depending on the product and configuration, an interaction may create audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, journal entries, extracted information, generated content, operational records, and related metadata. Recording may be disabled in some configurations even when transcription or other processing occurs.
Where notice or consent is legally required for recording, transcription, or communications monitoring, Somporko and its business customers are responsible for providing the notices and obtaining the permissions applicable to their respective roles and use of the service.
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular situation. Important information and consequential actions should be reviewed by an appropriate person before reliance where the circumstances warrant it.
7. Business customers and end-user data
For business-oriented products such as Somporko Aria and Somporko Frontline Intelligence, Somporko may process information on behalf of a business or organization. The business may determine the purpose of the workflow, the information it provides, the people with whom it communicates, and the features it enables.
Business customers are responsible for their own privacy notices, permissions, recording or transcription disclosures, communications practices, and compliance obligations for the way they configure and use Somporko services. Where Somporko acts as a service provider or processor on a customer's behalf, we process information in accordance with the applicable agreement and customer instructions, subject to law.
9. SMS and mobile information
If you provide a mobile phone number and request or agree to receive SMS messages, we may use that number for verification codes, appointment confirmations, reminders, service updates, requested follow-up, and related communications.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile phone numbers, mobile opt-in information, and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell, rent, or trade mobile opt-in information or SMS consent.
Where applicable, you may opt out of non-essential SMS messages by replying STOP and may reply HELP for help. Authentication or security messages may be necessary to use certain features.
11. Data retention, deletion, and account closure
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining user-requested history or context, meeting customer commitments, protecting security, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary by product, data type, user choice, customer configuration, contract, service-provider setting, and legal requirement. Some products are intentionally designed to retain context, history, transcripts, journal entries, summaries, reminders, or related information until the user or authorized customer deletes it, closes the account, changes a retention setting, or the applicable retention period ends.
When information is deleted, it may remain for a limited period in backups, security records, fraud-prevention records, or systems where immediate deletion is not technically feasible or where retention is required or permitted by law. We may de-identify information instead of deleting it where permitted.
Users may request deletion where applicable, and some products provide in-product deletion controls. Business-customer data may be subject to the business customer's instructions and applicable agreement.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where appropriate, logging, monitoring, and other measures based on the nature of the service.
No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of personal information; to withdraw consent for future processing; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to appeal a privacy-rights decision.
We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request.
Withdrawing permission for processing may limit or prevent use of a feature when that processing is necessary to provide the feature. You can also use product-level controls for accounts, communications, sharing, integrations, participant access, or deletion where available.
To make a privacy request, contact info@somporko.ai.
14. International processing
Somporko and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
15. Children
Our general websites and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If a particular product is offered for use involving a minor, additional notices, permissions, age requirements, or agreements may apply.
16. Sensitive information and regulated uses
Somporko products may support family-support, healthcare-adjacent, professional-office, or other specialized workflows, but Somporko is not a medical provider and does not itself provide medical, legal, financial, insurance, emergency, or other licensed professional advice unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
Customers and users should not provide highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for the service and appropriate safeguards, notices, permissions, and agreements are in place.
17. Third-party links and independent services
Our services may link to or integrate with third-party services. When a third party acts independently rather than as our service provider, its own privacy terms and practices apply. We encourage users to review those terms before using the third-party service.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our products, providers, practices, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain new permission before materially different processing begins.
